The Western Trial Advocacy Institute qualifies for continuing legal education in most states. To ensure CLE credit, please provide us with the states you want credit for in your application. Due to individual states' CLE application deadlines, participants should register no later than May 1, 2011 in order to receive full CLE credit. Applications will be accepted after May 1, but participants are not guaranteed CLE credit for their respective states. If registering after May 1, you may have to submit your request for CLE yourself, to secure credit for all the states in which you are admitted to the bar. The number of hours accredited varies slightly from state to state. For further information, contact our student directors listed on the application. Costs incurred in attending legal seminars (tuition, travel, meals, and lodging) which maintain and improve professional skill required for employment are tax deductible (Treas. Reg 1.162-5).
